TIMOTHY OLYPHANT
Timothy David Olyphant was born May 20, 1968 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His family moved to Modesto, California (south of San Francisco) to raise him. Timothy began swimming at age 6 and became nationally competitive in the sport, winning a variety of competitions and earning a scholarship to the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He took an acting class to fulfill a final requirement before getting his degree in Fine Art. He was so bitten by the acting bug that he moved to New York to study it, and landed a spot in the highly regarded two-year program of noted thespian teacher William Esper.

CATCH AND RELEASE
Timothy meandered through a variety of roles before finding the parts that would land him the most notoriety. Not in any specific order...
DEADWOOD
Timothy would play the sheriff of the infamous South Dakota town during its gunslinging days in this deconstructionist Western TV series on HBO.

BROKEN HEARTS CLUB
In the part that would first get him the most attention, Timothy would play a member of a group of friends who are gay in this underrated movie starring other hotties such as Andrew Keegan, Zach Braff, Michael Bergin, Justin Theroux, Christian Kane, and Dean Cain. Timothy and Dean would be on the cover of The Advocate to promote the film.

GO
Go featured a large ensemble cast of hotties, too, including Scott Wolf, Taye Diggs, Jay Mohr, Desmond Askew, Breckin Meyer and William Fitchner. Timothy played a ne'er do well, the kind of role that he would mostly play, and giving us some great shirtless and drooping pants shots.

DAMAGES
Timothy was in season 1 of the FX series that starred Glenn Close as a ruthless New York lawyer. He would play a pivotal role in the series mythology, and that's all I'll say. And now for some shirtlessness that will damage no one...

JUSTIFIED
Being a lawman seems to suit Timothy to a T as he plays another in the exciting series Justified. Set in Kentucky, the show is a part of the rural chic that has been coming into vogue on television in the past decade.
A PERFECT GETAWAY
From the sublime to the sub-par, A Perfect Getaway is hardly perfect, but it does offer us this very cherce view of Timothy's beautiful backside.
TIMOTHY OLYPHANT: THE NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN
Thanks as always to my beloved xyzpdq!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have been waiting for Mr. Olyphant to be featured here. He has been one of my favorites for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the great work, Derek!
One of the truly handsomest and hottest actors out there--just delicious! And I ask, will he EVER start to age a little?!! Thanks Derek!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the appreciation, fellas!
ReplyDeleteXYZ, Timothy has been in the pipeline for some time. I just never know who I will be in the mood for on a given week. LOL!
Reksy, it is amazing isn't it? Aside from the graying at the temples, Timothy doesn't seem to age a bit, which makes me equal parts angry and delighted. ;)
One gorgeous man! I've been a fan since his little part in Go, He overshadowed every other guy in that movie & only gets better!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Derek :)
Thanks, tri!
ReplyDeleteI completely agree. Timothy was the reason to see Go, which was a good movie already. He just had the star quality from the beginning, and he wasn't even made up to look his best. And we should all age so gracefully! :)
