JAMES DENTON
James "Jamie" Thomas Denton was born January 20, 1963 in Nashville, Tennessee, and grew up in the nearby town of Goodletsville. He got his degree in advertising from the University of Tennessee and sold radio ads before becoming an actor. He first moved to Chicago and developed a serious stage career playing in dramas like A Streetcar Named Desire.
...AND LEADING LADIES
Of course James is most famous for his work in the hit TV show Desperate Housewives, in which he played opposite the very talented Teri Hatcher.

Cutting such a striking figure would mean that he would be paired with other ladies, too.
FORMAL INVITATION
CASUALLY COOL
BLUE COLLAR CHIC
Playing an impossibly gorgeous plumber meant that he had to "have a past," as old film noir writers might say. This meant moments of dark secrets and plenty-o-tshirts.
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
SHIRTS ARE FOR SUCKERS
Needless to say that James looked great in a t-shirt, but even better without one!
"Girl, please!"
"And you say that I only had two beers?"
PANTS ARE FOR SUCKERS
James deserves a wonderful film career, so someone should drag his agent through a cactus patch for getting him into this dreadful movie and with Chris Kattan, no less. Still it did give us the closest thing James has done to a nude scene.

JAMES DENTON: A PERFECT TEN-NESSEAN
Thanks to the blogging host with the most, xyzpdq!
You did it again! You managed to pick one of my all-time favorites. He caught my eye when he played a judge on "Philly". I can't wait to see where he shows up next. Great job, Derek!
